Procrastination is innate!. There is this gratifying monkey in everyone that always comes in our way of achieving something. It keeps fascinating us that there is ample time for us to complete assigned task. But during these all fun sessions with gratifying monkey, a big monster keeps haunting us about that assigned task just like this;

:(

well, recently I have learned a new technique named as “POMODORO”. It consists of four basic and very easy to follow steps, are as following;

  1. 25 minutes
  2. No interruptions
  3. Focus
  4. Reward

I have experienced this by assigning myself a task (Rearranging my cup-board).What I did was, I divided my task in 3 sections and set timer of 25 minutes for each section. Whenever I was interrupted by anything I wrote it down and this really helped me so much. At the end I rewarded by myself a delicious cup of hot chocolate:) … and that was my favorite part. My cupboard was a mess before but I managed to do this tiring/exhausting work in less time as I expected. This whole experience brings a sense of satisfaction in me and I will surely do this in future to achieve my goals.
